Another road trip under the crews’ belts! This trip we focused on a handful of beautiful State Parks across New York filled with timeless relics and future friendships!
This is, technically, our third time at Niagara Falls. Each visit we have experienced it a different way. The first time was only from the U.S. side. The second time was very late at night from the Canadian side. This time it was from both and viewing it from the Skylon Tower! The next time we come may have to be when they shut it off for repairs in the future!
Watkins Glen State Park is the most visited state park in New York if you exclude Niagara Falls. We met a lot of happy trekkers who let curiosity get the better of themselves which usually is because of Ahab. Reflecting on it now, I think the location is really what inspired it!
Perusing the botanic grounds of Cornell this morning was an interestingly relaxing trek!
We thought we would only get to see the falls from the overlook point. Taking a mile-long hike from the bottom of the gorge into the base of the falls was an added bonus! The rain part way in was refreshing also!
The first stop on our road trip around the Finger Lakes of New York. The Gorge Trail in Robert H. Treman State Park held a treasure trove of sites along the two-mile trek!
On the way to Ohio to speak we broke up the trip by stopping into Southern Tier! Geeg likes the 2xIPA the best!
LinkedIn asked us to come visit so we went a little early and spent the morning seeing some sites!
Only a day trip this Comic Con, but as always there were some epic things going on!
What an interesting culture of pirates hiding out in the Albany area!
Some of our most loyal fans came from the NYCC! Great cosplay, giveaways, gaming and more!
